Roulette dozens Canada: three blocks of twelve, and zero sits outside
Roulette dozens are 1-12, 13-24, and 25-36. A column is a different twelve. Zero is outside both. The payout multiple is not stored.
Roulette dozens are three blocks of twelve numbers on the felt: 1 to 12, 13 to 24, and 25 to 36. On Crown Slots the welcome cell says up to $4,000 + 250 free spins, and the wagering cell is blank. That package is not a payout multiple for a dozen, and it does not tell you which wheel is on the table.
Slotlounge and Goldex have empty welcomes. Empty is not a dozen, not a column, and not a reason to copy Crown Slots' figures across. Provincial rules are not named on this page. Slots is the right word if you came from the slots lobby. This page is the roulette felt, not a slot payline.
What roulette dozens cover, and what they leave out
A chip on the first dozen covers 1 through 12. The second covers 13 through 24. The third covers 25 through 36. A straight-up bet is the centre of one number. A dozen is twelve of them, as a block, not as twelve separate tickets unless you actually placed twelve tickets.
Zero sits outside all three dozens. A spin of 0 loses a dozen bet on the ordinary reading, because 0 is not in 1-12, not in 13-24, and not in 25-36. We do not store a house rule that shares the stake with zero, and we do not store "en prison" or any other even-chance exception. Those belong to even-money boxes if a table offers them, and they are not printed on these welcome rows.
A column is also twelve numbers, but they run down the felt rather than in a consecutive block. The first column is not the first dozen. If you wanted 1, 2, and 3, that is a street, not a dozen and not a column. Read the printed grid on the table you joined. We do not store a payout multiple for a dozen or for a column. If the felt shows a multiple, that label is the one you use. Do not import one from memory or from Crown Slots' welcome.
The wheel page is a different count
The Canada roulette page is about the wheel you joined, including how many zeros you can see. A dozen bet does not become safer because you counted the zeros, and counting zeros does not tell you which block of twelve you bought. Single-zero and double-zero wheels both leave 0 outside the dozens. A double-zero wheel also leaves 00 outside. We do not store which wheel Crown Slots, Slotlounge, or Goldex uses in every lobby. Look at the table.
Neighbours, racetrack bets, and a chip on a single number are not dozens. A cluster of numbers next to each other on the wheel is not the same as 1-12 on the felt. The wheel order and the felt order do not match.
Soft totals and slot lines do not belong here
Blackjack soft 17 is an ace counted as 11, plus 6. It is a hand total, not a block of twelve. Dealer hit or stand on soft 17 is not stored, and it has nothing to do with where the ball lands.
Slot paylines are paths on a reel grid. A dozen is not a payline, and a line count is not a felt maximum. Ways are a different slot rule again. If you are inside a slot, you are not on this page.
Live table minimums and maximums, where the felt prints them, are not stored here. Crown Slots' up to $4,000 + 250 free spins is not a table minimum. Slotlounge and Goldex do not fill that gap by being empty. If the chip selector refuses your stake, that refusal is the limit you have, and this article will not replace it with a number.
What the empty cells still tell you
They tell you the welcome is not published. They do not tell you that roulette is missing, and they do not tell you that it is present. Open the live lobby or the RNG roulette tile. If the dozens are not marked on the felt, do not drag a chip to the side and hope. A missing betting area is an answer.
No return-to-player figure is stored. No "hot dozen" from a history board is a prediction. A board that shows recent numbers is a record of spins that already happened. It does not move the next ball.
A felt check
- Name the block: 1-12, 13-24, or 25-36. If you wanted a column, stop and find the column.
- Confirm zero is not inside your block.
- Read the multiple printed on that table, if one is printed. If it is not printed, do not invent it.
- Keep the welcome out of the stake. The package is not the chip.
The Canada hub lists the houses this page may name. 18+ only. Confirm the felt and the cashier. Interac is a different subject, and it is not a roulette rule.
