Slots ways Canada: a ways count is not a payline count

Ways count adjacent symbols. Paylines are fixed paths. Do not multiply your stake by the ways figure unless the panel shows that product. No 243 list is stored.

Slots ways Canada describes a game that pays for matching symbols on adjacent reels, rather than along a fixed line drawn through the grid. A ways figure is not a payline count. It is also not your stake, unless the stake panel literally multiplies a number by that figure and shows you the product.

Crown Slots shows a welcome of up to $4,000 + 250 free spins, with wagering blank. Slotlounge has an empty welcome. Goldex has an empty welcome. The Crown pack is not a ways count. Do not paste it onto the empty rows.

How a ways count differs from the payline page

The paylines article already says a line count is not the debit unless the panel shows the product of lines and stake per line. Ways are the other pattern. Instead of a path you can trace, like the middle row or a zigzag the rules draw, a ways game looks for symbols sitting next to each other from the left, or sometimes from the right if the sheet says so. We have not stored which direction a given title uses.

A label of 243, or 1024, or any other ways number, is a description some games print. We have not stored a catalogue, and we are not listing titles. If the game you opened does not print a ways number, do not supply one from memory.

Do not multiply your stake by that number. If the panel says the spin costs what you selected, that selected figure is the spin. Only if the panel shows a formula, and the total updates when you change a per-way or per-line stake, is the product the debit. Read the number that will actually be taken.

What a ways label does not tell you

It is not RTP. No return percentage is stored for Crown Slots, Slotlounge or Goldex. A bigger ways count is not a bigger return.

It is not volatility. The volatility page is about a low, medium or high tag. A ways game can carry any of those tags, or none.

It is not bonus buy. Buying a feature is a separate price, and Canada already has a note on that. The ways count does not set the feature price.

It is not turbo and it is not autoplay. Turbo shortens the animation of one paid round. Autoplay queues several rounds. Neither one changes a ways game into a payline game.

The game-info sheet inside the title is where the studio explains the pattern. If that sheet says paylines, you are not in a ways game, whatever the lobby tile implied.

Empty welcomes and one quoted pack

Slotlounge and Goldex show no bonus amount, no wagering, no minimum and no spin count. That is the row. It does not prove their lobbies are ways games or payline games. Open a title and read the sheet.

Crown Slots' up to $4,000 + 250 free spins stays on Crown Slots. It does not buy a ways mechanic, and it does not move onto Goldex because both sit on the same table. Province rules can differ. None of these three rows names a province. A listing is not a licence.

If you cannot find the word "ways" or an equivalent on the sheet, do not file the game under this article. Use the payline note if the sheet draws lines. If the sheet shows something else, stop and read that sheet rather than forcing a label.

A short check before you spin

Interac is not part of this check. The cashier is a separate topic, and this is not a withdrawal guide.

Read the debit twice

Before the first paid spin on Crown Slots, Slotlounge or Goldex, do this on one title only.

Open the rules. Write down whether the sheet says lines or ways. If it says neither, stop and do not file the game under this note.

Look at the stake control. Change it by one step. Read the number that updates. That number is the debit. If a ways figure printed in the corner did not move, it is a description, not your stake. Leave it alone.

Crown Slots can show up to $4,000 + 250 free spins on the row and a completely different number on the panel. The row is not the panel. Slotlounge and Goldex show no welcome figure at all, so the panel is the only number you have. Do not invent a ways count to fill the empty cell.

Spin once, then open the history. One round should show one debit equal to the number you just read. If it shows a multiple you did not see on the panel, stop and re-read the control you changed. Do not continue a session to "average it out".

The both-teams market is not on this screen. Neither is Interac. Province rules can differ, and none of these three rows names one. A listing is not a licence to assume the game is offered the same way everywhere.

Put the stake back to a figure you actually meant before you spin a second time. The ways integer will still be sitting there. It can stay unread.

The Canada casino table is where the three rows sit. 18+ only. Knowing how a game counts a win does not change the amount on the stake panel unless you change that amount.
