Blackjack soft 17 Canada: the dealer line is not your stand button

Blackjack soft 17 is the dealer sentence on the felt. Ace and six is the plain case. We have not stored hit or stand.

# Blackjack soft 17 Canada: the dealer line is not your stand button

Blackjack soft 17 Canada is the dealer rule written on the table: whether the dealer hits or stands when the hand is an ace counted as 11, plus 6. Your own stand button is a different control. The payout multiple for a natural is not this line, and it is not stored here.

Crown Slots is listed at up to $4,000 + 250 free spins, with wagering blank. Slotlounge and Goldex are on the Canada table with empty welcomes. None of those rows says the dealer hits soft 17, and none says the dealer stands. If the felt prints the sentence, the felt is the rule. Province is not named on this page. A listing is not a licence.

What blackjack soft 17 Canada is pointing at

A soft 17 is a 17 that uses an ace as 11. Ace and six is the plain case. Ace, five and ace can also be a soft 17 if one ace is 11 and the other is 1. A hard 17 has no ace counted as 11: ten and seven, or four, six and seven. The dealer rule people argue about is the soft one. Hard 17 is a stand on almost every table you will see. We have not stored an exception. Read the felt if you think you have found one.

Some tables tell the dealer to hit soft 17. Some tell the dealer to stand. Both exist in the wider game. Which one Crown Slots, Slotlounge or Goldex uses is not stored, because it can differ by table and we have not checked a felt for you. "Dealer must hit soft 17" and "dealer stands on all 17s" are the two sentences to look for. If you see neither, you do not know. Do not borrow the sentence from a strategy card.

The blackjack payout page is where a natural's multiple would be read, and that multiple is not stored either. Soft 17 does not set 3 to 2, and 3 to 2 does not set soft 17. Leave the payout line alone while you look for the dealer sentence.

Your hit and stand buttons decide your hand. The dealer line decides the dealer's hand. Standing your own soft 17 is allowed or not as a choice you make. It does not rewrite the dealer's rule. Doubling, if the button exists, adds a stake and one card. It is not the soft-17 sentence. Split is a different button again. Missing buttons are an answer.

Two hands that look like 17

No pay table is stored.

You hold ace and six. The dealer shows a 6. You may stand or hit. If you stand, your soft 17 is finished. The dealer then plays by the felt. If the felt says the dealer hits soft 17, and the dealer also has ace and six, the dealer takes another card. Your decision did not force that card. The felt did.

You hold ten and seven. That is hard 17. The soft-17 sentence usually does not touch it. Do not hit it because you misread "soft" as "any 17".

The dealer has ace and six, the felt says stand on all 17s, and you have 18. On that felt the dealer stands and your 18 wins the hand, on the ordinary reading that higher totals beat lower ones. A rule that pushes 18 against 17 is not stored because that is not how the comparison works. If the screen settles it differently, believe the screen and treat this paragraph as the ordinary reading only.

A natural is an ace and a ten-value card in the first two cards. It is not a soft 17. Soft 18, soft 19 and soft 20 are larger soft totals. The famous dealer argument is 17, not those.

What the welcome row cannot settle

Crown Slots' package is a cashier offer. It does not hit for the dealer. Slotlounge and Goldex, with empty welcomes, do not leave a blank you can fill with "hits soft 17". Empty means check the cashier for the offer and check the felt for the rule. N1 Bet is also on the Canada list, with no welcome figure stored. It is not needed to read a felt, and this page does not paste a welcome onto it.

Live table limits, if a table shows them, are a minimum and a maximum stake. They are not the soft-17 sentence. A missing limit figure is not a missing dealer rule, and a printed dealer rule is not a minimum stake. We have not stored a minimum.

Use the Canada casino table for the live rows. Second-half both teams to score is a coupon. A soft 17 does not settle a 1-1 after the break.

18+ only. Hitting your own 16 because you are unsure of the dealer rule is still your stake. If a deposit limit is on the cashier, set it before you fund the account.
