RaraWin ante-post betting UK: a price taken before the day

Ante-post betting on RaraWin is a price taken before race day. It is not starting price, and the non-runner rule for that market is not stored.

Ante-post betting is a price taken before the race day, not the price on the board when the horses leave. On RaraWin that label, if it is on the slip at all, is a different market from the starting-price box and from a day-of single you tap in the afternoon.

The United Kingdom table on The Bonus Atlas lists one house for this guide. RaraWin's welcome cell says "Welcome bonus" and stores no amount, no wagering figure, and no minimum deposit. Nothing in that cell is an ante-post price. A racing ticket and a casino welcome are different products, and this page does not treat the welcome as a horse.

What ante-post betting is asking

An ante-post bet names a selection before the final day-of market is the one in front of you. The useful test is the clock. If you took the price days or weeks before the declarations, you were not looking at the same board as someone who bets after the overnight prices appear. The starting price page is about the off: the price formed when the race starts, and a board price you already tapped stays the price you tapped. Ante-post betting sits earlier than that. It is not a second name for starting price.

A public UK bookmaker glossary notes that conditional bets, the family that includes "if cash" and any-to-come orders, are normally not accepted on ante-post selections. That is a glossary habit, not a line we store on RaraWin. If the sports coupon offers an ante-post race, open the bet slip and see whether an up-and-down, a single-stakes-about, or any other conditional order is even on the menu. A missing conditional is an answer. It does not prove the race itself is closed.

A price you took early is the price on that ticket

Suppose the Grand National, the Derby, or a festival handicap is listed weeks out. You back one horse at the price shown that morning. By race day the same horse can be shorter or longer on the board. The ante-post ticket does not silently update to the new number. The starting price is a different settlement path: it is formed at the off from the market, and it is not the same object as a price you accepted in March.

We do not store a RaraWin ante-post price, a best-odds-guaranteed flag, or a rule that the off replaces your early price. Best odds guaranteed, if a book makes that promise, is a label on the market. If RaraWin does not print that label on the ante-post race, do not assume the better of the two prices will be paid. Check the market header before you stake.

Non-runners are a different page, and the exception is not stored

The non-runner guide covers a horse that does not start. On an ordinary day-of single, the usual reading is that the bet is void. Ante-post is the case that page deliberately does not decide. Some books let an ante-post stake stand even when the horse comes out, which means the ticket loses rather than returning. Some void it. RaraWin's rule for that case is not stored here. Read the market rules on the race you actually opened. Do not copy the day-of void across to an ante-post slip without looking.

Rule 4, the deduction sometimes applied when a horse is taken out of a day-of market, is also not stored. Neither is any cap on that deduction. If the ante-post race later becomes a day-of race and a withdrawal is announced, the slip or the rules text is the source. A blog sentence is not.

What this market is not

Ante-post betting is one selection, at a price, placed early. It is not a forecast, which needs two horses in one order. It is not a tricast. It is not a patent or a Yankee: those are packages of lines on several horses, and the line count is arithmetic you can do on the slip, not a tariff we keep for RaraWin.

It is not betting without, where one named horse is ignored and the rest of the field still counts. It is not a match bet between two named horses. It is not an each-way bet unless you choose the each-way option. An each-way stake is two stakes, win and place. Place terms, the number of places, and the fraction of the odds are not stored for an ante-post race. If you add each-way, the stake on the slip will show the doubling. Confirm the place wording there. We are not publishing a place table.

A day-of single on the same horse, struck after the racecard is final, is a different ticket even if the horse's name matches. Keep the two receipts apart. The bet receipt is the screen after you confirm. Ante-post does not get a special receipt layout on this page. If the history row names the market "ante-post", that word is what you rely on later, not a memory of the price.

Abandoned races, reserves, and declarations

Final declarations can add or remove horses after you bet. Whether a reserve can replace your selection, whether a vacancy voids the race, and whether an abandoned meeting voids ante-post bets are not stored. Those rules move by meeting. The only safe reading is the one printed on that market the day you bet, and again if the meeting is moved.

Do not treat a shortened race, a walkover, or a race voided for unsafe ground as the same outcome. We do not store which of those returns the stake. If the open-bets list still shows the ticket after the meeting is called off, leave it there until the book settles it. Closing the app does not settle a bet.

The welcome cell stays out of the coupon

RaraWin is the only casino on the UK list used here. The welcome is described as a welcome bonus for UK players, with no figure attached. Do not invent a match percentage, a free-spin count, or a wagering multiple and then talk about it as if it were the ante-post market. If you want the casino side, open the cashier. If you want the race, stay on the sports slip.

There is no second UK brand on this table to compare. A page that named another book would be inventing a row. The UK hub is where the live row sits. Use it to see the published cell, then use the sports tab on RaraWin to see whether the race is marked ante-post.

How to check the slip in four steps

A limit that has nothing to do with the price

Ante-post prices can look large because the field is uncertain. A large displayed price is not a reason to raise the stake. RaraWin's responsible-gambling tools are a separate page, and deposit limits are not a racing rule. Set a limit before you move from the casino wallet into a sports bet. The price on a festival race will still be there after you have decided the stake you can lose.

18+ only. If the market is not on the coupon, the honest result is that this race is not available ante-post on RaraWin today. Compare the published UK row on the United Kingdom hub and confirm every live term in the cashier or on the slip.
