RaraWin starting price UK: the off, not the price you tapped

RaraWin starting price UK means you wait for the off. A board price stays the price you tapped. The welcome cell has no amount.

# RaraWin starting price UK: the off, not the price you tapped

RaraWin starting price UK is the bet where you do not lock a board price. RaraWin is the only house on the United Kingdom table, so the note stays on that name. The public welcome cell says welcome bonus and prints no amount. Wagering is empty. Minimum deposit is empty. None of those cells is a racing price, and none of them tells you whether a race is SP or board.

RaraWin can show a price on a horse and, separately, a way to take the starting price. A board price is the one you accept. It stays on the slip as the fraction or the decimal you tapped. The starting price is the price formed at the off, when the race starts. If you ask for SP, you do not know the return while the horse is still in the parade ring. That is the whole difference this page is willing to teach.

We have not stored RaraWin's SP source. The trade builds a starting price from prices in the market at the off. This page does not copy that industry formula onto RaraWin, and it does not print a sample SP for any race, any course, or any day. If the race card on the site shows a returned SP after the off, that figure is the one for that bet. If the card is still blank, you are waiting. A show you saw at lunch is not a substitute.

The fractional odds note is how to read a slash you already took. A price such as 4/1 is profit-on-stake arithmetic: four units of profit for one unit staked, if that is how the slash is printed. That reading is not a stored RaraWin price, and it is not an SP. SP is the case where there is no slash yet. Do not use the fractional page to invent the number that will appear at the off.

What RaraWin starting price UK is not

A non-runner is a horse that does not start. The non-runner page is that case. Ordinary day-of-race reading: a single on a horse that does not come under orders is void, and the stake comes back. SP does not change that. A horse that never starts has no finishing position. It also does not hand you a winning SP bet. If the slip stays open after the withdrawal, wait. Open is not the same as lost.

A dead heat is two or more horses that do start and finish level. The dead heat page is about splitting a stake. SP can be the price that then gets split. The split and the SP are different sentences. We have not stored the fraction of the split. Do not settle a dead heat by guessing that SP "already includes" the tie.

Each-way is two stakes, one for the win and one for the place. The each-way page owns that box. You can ask for SP on an each-way bet, and you can take a board price instead. The place terms, and how many places pay, are not stored here. A place bet with one stake and no win stake is the place page. Taking SP does not turn a win-only single into an each-way bet.

Rule 4 is a deduction that can apply when you took a board price and another horse is withdrawn. The rate and any cap are not stored on this page, and they were not stored on the non-runner page either. SP bets are often outside that deduction, because the SP is built from the market that is left. That is a habit of the trade, not a sentence copied from a RaraWin rulebook. Read the race. If the live text disagrees, the live text wins for that bet.

Ante-post is a different market. A price taken days before declarations can have its own rule when a horse comes out. We have not stored an ante-post clause for RaraWin. Do not treat a day-of-race SP tick as an ante-post bet, and do not assume an early price is "the SP in advance".

How to read the slip before the off

Name the bet before you look at the money. The label on the slip is the contract you can actually see.

An accumulator that includes an SP leg is still an accumulator. On the ordinary reading, every leg has to win, and the SP leg contributes whatever price comes back at its own off. We have not stored a void rule for a multiple. If one horse does not start, use the non-runner page for that leg and then read what is left on the slip. Do not assume a treble quietly becomes a double unless the slip says so.

Worked shape, not a RaraWin price: you stake 1 at a board price of 4/1. If the slash is profit on the stake, a winning return is the stake plus four. The same stake at SP cannot be turned into a number until the SP exists. Do not paste 4/1 onto an SP slip because that was the show at lunchtime. Lunch was a show. The off is the SP.

What the welcome cell still does not do

The welcome line does not name a racing market. It does not set a minimum stake. It does not promise that SP is offered on every race, every meeting, or every sport. Greyhounds, virtual races and football coupons are different products. If a match shows a price, that price is not a starting price in the racing sense. Do not drag this page onto a coupon that has no off and no SP control.

Cash out, if the slip offers an early close before the off, is a new price for ending the ticket. We have not stored a cash-out formula. An early close is not the SP, and it is not a withdrawal from the cashier. If you take it, you are done with that ticket. The SP that prints later belongs to people who stayed on SP. It is not a correction of your early close.

Best price guaranteed, extra places, and money-back offers are the same kind of problem. If RaraWin prints one of those badges on a race, the badge text is the rule. We have not stored a guarantee, a place count, or a refund trigger. A badge is not this page.

The United Kingdom hub is the live table. RaraWin is the only mapped name. If the row changes, this note is stale. Listing is not a licence. We do not give legal advice, and we do not print a UKGC account number. The licence-check note is where that limit is already written. This page does not repeat it as a new claim.

Check the race card for whether SP is even offered. Some markets are board price only. A missing SP control is a fact about that market. It is not a broken account, and it is not something the welcome cell can fix.

18+ only. Set a limit before you stake. Confirm the live race rules on the slip. The welcome cell is not a price.
