RaraWin match bet UK: which of these two horses finishes in front
A RaraWin match bet asks which of two named horses finishes ahead of the other. The rest of the field is irrelevant. It is not a forecast.
A RaraWin match bet UK asks one question about two named horses: which one finishes in front of the other. The rest of the field can fill the places. You are not forecasting the race.
RaraWin is the only casino and book on the UK table. The welcome cell says "Welcome bonus" and stops there. No amount, no free spins, no wagering. That title is not a match-bet price. If the coupon shows a price between horse A and horse B, the price on the screen is the one you are taking. We have not stored one.
What a RaraWin match bet UK settles
Take horse A and horse B in the same race. You back A. The bet wins if A finishes ahead of B. It loses if B finishes ahead of A. Third and seventh is a win for A if A is the third and B is the seventh. Both can miss the places and the match bet still has a winner, because the places were never the question.
That is the split from a forecast. A straight forecast names the first and the second in the whole race, in that order. Your horse can beat the other one and still be nowhere near the forecast. A tricast needs first, second and third. A match bet ignores every horse except the two on the ticket.
It is also not a place bet. A place bet needs your horse to finish inside the place terms. A match bet can win with your horse last-but-one, as long as the other horse is last. It is not an each-way either. Each-way is two stakes, win and place. A match bet is one comparison.
A worked race, with no prices
Eight run. You take A over B.
- A finishes 2nd, B finishes 5th. A is in front. The match bet on A wins. A forecast on A would still need the horse that actually won.
- A finishes 6th, B finishes 7th. A is still in front of B. The match bet on A wins. A place bet on A may well have lost. Different tickets.
- A finishes 4th, B finishes 3rd. B is in front. The match bet on A loses.
- A and B cannot be separated. They dead-heat with each other. The dead-heat page is about a tie in the race's win or place market, and the fraction it describes is not stored as a RaraWin rule. A dead heat between the two horses in a match bet is a narrower question. We have not stored whether the stake splits, voids, or pays something else. Read the ticket. Do not copy a fraction from another market onto this one.
The photo finish, the distances, and any steward's amendment are not on our row. The official order is the order the bet uses once it is official. A lunchtime tissue is not a result. The starting price page is about the price at the off, not about which horse passed the other.
If one horse does not start
A match bet with one runner missing is unfinished as a comparison. The non-runner note says an ordinary day-of-race single often voids when the horse does not start, and that a Rule 4 rate is not stored. A match bet is not that single. Some books void the match if either horse is a non-runner. Some settle against the remaining horse only when the rules say so. RaraWin's line is not stored. Open the bet and read it before you treat the stake as returned.
Do not confuse this with the patent, if that page is live beside this one. A patent is seven lines across three selections. A match bet is one line between two horses in one race. Putting two match bets and a double around them would be you building a patent-shaped ticket. The slip has to say that. We have not stored a combined product.
What to read on the coupon
- The two names. A match bet against "the field" is not this bet. This bet is horse against horse.
- The race time. The same two names in a different race are a different comparison.
- Whether the price is fixed on the board or due to move. We have not stored a cash-out formula.
- The stake. One comparison, one stake, unless you typed more than one match.
- The non-runner line, if it is printed. If it is not printed, do not invent a void.
If the coupon has no match-bet control, RaraWin is not offering that name on that race. Do not force two horses into a forecast box and call it a match. The forecast needs an order for the whole race. The match only needs these two.
The welcome cell stays empty of figures. Nothing on that row discounts a match bet, adds a free token, or sets a minimum. Check the cashier if a promotion sits next to the slip, and keep the promotion off the horse until the terms name it.
Use the UK hub to see the live row before you open the coupon. 18+ only. A match bet is still a bet on a race. The smaller question does not make the stake smaller unless you typed a smaller stake.
