# Blackjack insurance Norway: a side stake when the ace is up
Blackjack insurance Norway is an extra stake the table may offer when the dealer's up-card is an ace. It is a bet that the dealer has a blackjack. It is not a change to the payout of your hand. Goldex, RollXo and N1 Bet are the three Norway names for this check. All three welcomes are empty. No insurance multiple is stored, and no table minimum is stored.
The Norway casino table lists mapped brands. A listing is not a licence.
When the blackjack insurance Norway prompt appears
You have a hand. The dealer shows an ace. A button or a circle offers insurance, usually before you take cards. If you ignore it, your hand plays on as normal. If you put a stake in it, you have two bets: the hand, and the insurance.
The blackjack panel note is the wider table: where the hand is, and that we do not store a 3:2 or 6:5 line. This page does not fill that gap. Insurance does not tell you what a winning hand pays. It tells you there is a second question, only when the ace is showing. If the dealer shows a ten, a king, or a seven, the insurance prompt should not be there. If a table offers it on other cards, that is a different rule. Read the felt. We have not stored such a rule, so do not expect it.
What the side stake is asking
It is asking whether the hole card makes a blackjack for the dealer. If the dealer has blackjack, insurance is the bet that was right. If the dealer does not, insurance loses, and your hand is then settled on its own result. Those two outcomes are independent enough that you must not treat a won hand as a won insurance, or the reverse.
Even money is a cousin, not the same button. Even money is sometimes offered when you already have a blackjack and the dealer shows an ace: take a sure return instead of waiting to see the hole card. If the felt shows that wording, it is a choice about your blackjack, not the insurance circle for a stiff hand. Do not click one because you meant the other. We have not stored which of these buttons Goldex, RollXo, or N1 Bet display.
There is no stored ratio. People remember "2 to 1" from other tables. That memory is not a quote from these brands. The prompt has to print the return. If it does not print a return, skip it.
What it costs
Insurance is capped, on many tables, at half the hand stake. "Many tables" is not these tables. Look at the chip the button will take. If it will only accept up to half, the control will stop you. If it accepts more, the felt's limit is the one in front of you. An illustration: a hand of 10 units and an insurance stake of 5. Those units are not a minimum and not a currency. If the dealer has blackjack, the insurance wording pays and the hand usually loses, unless your hand is also a blackjack, in which case the hand may push. That "usually" is why you read the sheet. We have not stored the push rule.
If you decline insurance, nothing extra leaves the balance. Declining is a complete decision. You do not owe the table a side stake for sitting down.
Empty rows and other games
Goldex, RollXo, and N1 Bet have no printed welcome here. Do not import one. A blank cell is not a subsidy for insurance. If the cashier later shows an offer, check whether blackjack counts toward it. We do not have a contribution percentage. Assume nothing.
This is not the first-goal market. Minutes and aces are different products that happen to share a login on some brands. N1 Bet may show both a coupon and a table. The insurance button is on the table. The minute band is on the coupon. Do not look for an ace on a football slip.
Turbo spin, demo mode, and game history are slots or account tools. They do not answer the hole card. The live table limit, if you need a minimum before you sit, is the felt's own minimum and is already discussed on another Norway page. This page does not repeat a minimum we still do not have.
A clean way through the prompt
- See the ace. If there is no ace, there should be no insurance decision.
- Read the return on the button. No return, no click.
- See the stake it will add. If it is more than you meant, clear it.
- Remember the hand still settles on the hand's own line.
Do that at Goldex, and do not assume RollXo or N1 Bet copied the same button. Open each table you might use. Three feels, three checks.
The Norway hub is the list of mapped names. 18+ only. Insurance is optional, easy to click, and separate from the hand. If the prompt is vague, leave it. Your hand can still be played without it.
