Double chance betting Canada: one stake, two results, not a parlay
Double chance betting Canada is 1X, X2 or 12 on one match. MegaPari, N1 Bet and Hollywin do not store a price.
# Double chance betting Canada: one stake, two results, not a parlay
Double chance betting Canada is one stake on two of the three full-time results. 1X is home or draw. X2 is away or draw. 12 is home or away, and the draw loses. It is not the moneyline, not the point spread, and not a parlay of two games.
MegaPari prints up to $1,500 + 150 free spins. Wagering is empty. N1 Bet prints no welcome amount. Hollywin prints no welcome amount. None of those cells is a price for 1X, X2 or 12. We have not stored a line, a league or a match. If the coupon does not show the market, it is not offered just because the house is mapped.
Crown Slots prints up to $4,000 + 250 free spins, wagering blank. That pack is not a sports grid. The Crown review is about the row and your province. It is not a double chance rule. Do not stake Crown's package as if it were a coupon price.
Province rules differ. The row does not name a province. This market note is not legal advice about where a coupon may be shown.
How double chance betting Canada settles
Ordinary reading is the score at 90 minutes, including stoppage time, unless the coupon says otherwise. We have not stored an extra-time clause. A match that is level after 90 and then decided later is still a draw for a 90-minute 12.
- 1-0: 1X wins and 12 wins. X2 loses.
- 0-1: X2 wins and 12 wins. 1X loses.
- 1-1: 1X wins and X2 wins. 12 loses. The draw is not a near miss on 12. 12 excludes the draw on purpose.
- 3-3: same three answers as 1-1. The margin does not matter. It is still a draw.
- 2-0: 1X wins and 12 wins. You do not need a margin. If a number sits beside the team, you are on a spread, not on double chance.
The moneyline page is one result, with no number beside the team. Home moneyline loses on a draw. 1X does not. The point spread page is that number beside the team. Double chance has no spread attached. The over/under page is a total. A 1-0 can win 1X and lose an over 2.5. Different tickets.
The parlay page is several legs, usually from more than one event. A double chance bet is one selection that covers two results inside one event. People say "double" for both. The slip has to show which one you tapped. A two-leg parlay is not 12.
Both halves needs a goal in each half. A 1-0 that stays 1-0 wins 1X and loses both-halves. Correct score is one exact scoreline. 1-0 is not "any home win". Period betting is one period or one quarter, not the final 1X.
What to read on the slip
- The label. 1X, X2, 12, or the words home/draw, away/draw, home/away. "Double" alone is not enough.
- The clock. If it says 90 minutes, extra time is out. We have not stored a hockey period version of double chance. Do not drag this soccer-shaped market onto a period market because both can end level. Use the period page for a slice of the game.
- One stake. Unless the slip splits the stake and says so, you have one bet. We have not stored a split.
- Live prices move. We have not stored an in-play wording for this market. The price you took is the one on the ticket. A later show is someone else's bet.
- A parlay leg that is a double chance still has to win on its own label. Another leg does not repair a 12 that died on a draw.
No price is stored. Double chance often shows a shorter price than a single result because it covers more, but that is not a number we can print for MegaPari, N1 Bet or Hollywin. Read your slip.
The welcome rows stay out of the coupon
MegaPari's $1,500 + 150 free spins do not pick 1X. N1 Bet's empty cell does not mean the coupon is missing, and it does not mean the coupon is there. Hollywin's empty cell is the same kind of silence. Open the tab.
Interac steps do not belong on this market. No payout clock is stored.
Open the Canada hub and confirm the three names are still listed. If one is gone, do not keep the market by habit. Listing is not a licence. We do not give legal advice.
Double chance betting Canada is one label and one final result. If you cannot say which of the three outcomes is left out, you are not ready to stake. 12 leaves out the draw. 1X leaves out the away win. X2 leaves out the home win.
18+ only. Confirm the label on the slip. The welcome cell is not a price. Your province is not named on the row.
